Description
Our fourth generation of Secure Keys offers advanced security features, improved operating temperatures, and a more affordable price. This product provides software-free setup and operation, with 100% hardware-based encryption using 256-bit AES XTS. It also features an onboard keypad for PIN authentication and ultra-fast USB 3.1 (3.0) data transfer speeds. All data is encrypted on the fly, and both the device’s PINs and data remain encrypted when the drive is not in use. The Aegis Secure Key supports both Admin and User PINs, with the Admin mode allowing access to device settings and the User mode limited to basic drive functions. The drive can also be accessed with the admin PIN in User mode. Additionally, users can set the number of consecutive invalid PIN attempts permitted before a crypto-erase is triggered. The onboard keypad ensures that the drive is unlocked by entering a PIN directly, making it immune to software or hardware-based key-loggers and software-based brute force attacks.
