Additionally, M126 has WiFi connectivity while M1005 does not. The control panel in M126 is simpler and more helpful than in M1005. However, M1005 has the advantage of having more compatible cartridges than M126. For M126, the number of compatible cartridges is limited, and you may have to buy the original HP cartridge. Personally, I would suggest M126, but the final decision is up to you.
