Description
The HDMI ARC function allows you to extract audio from your TV and connect it to a Soundbar or Amplifier using the TV’s ARC port. To use this function, you will need to connect one end of an HDMI cable or Micro cable to the TV’s ARC port and the other end to the HDMI ARC Converter. Then, you can connect the L/R or 3.5mm audio cables to your sound bar, speaker, home theater, A/V receiver, or any other audio device.
There are two ways to use the ARC adapter. The first way is to insert the HDMI cable into the ARC port of the TV, plug the other end into the HDMI ARC adapter, connect the power supply, and then connect the R/L or 3.5mm audio cables to your audio device. Finally, you will need to set the TV audio output.
The second way is to use the matching Micro cable. You will need to insert the USB port of the Micro cable into the TV and the other end into the ARC adapter (which also requires a power supply). Then, you can connect the R/L or 3.5mm audio cables to your audio device and set the TV audio output. This method also allows the ARC adapter to function as a USB sound card, which can be inserted into a computer device through the USB end of the Micro cable. This is useful for computers that do not have a sound card or have a damaged sound card.
The ARC adapter supports a 192KHz sampling rate and has a built-in CEC volume control protocol, allowing you to adjust the volume using your TV remote control.
