Description
Our fourth generation of Secure Keys offers advanced security features, improved operating temperatures, and a more affordable price. This product provides software-free setup and operation, with 100% hardware-based encryption using 256-bit AES XTS. It also features an onboard keypad for PIN authentication and supports ultra-fast USB 3.1 (3.0) data transfer speeds.
With this device, all data is encrypted on the fly, and both the device’s PINs and data remain encrypted even when the drive is at rest. It has two modes: Admin (Device Configuration) Mode and User Access Mode. The Admin mode allows for universal programmable settings and can only be accessed with the Admin PIN. The User mode is limited to basic external drive functions, such as read/write and unlock/lock. However, the data on the drive can still be accessed with the admin PIN in the User mode.
Additionally, this product allows you to select the number of consecutive invalid PIN attempts permitted before a crypto-erase is triggered. This ensures that unauthorized access attempts are met with a secure response.
One of the key advantages of this product is that it is unlocked and authenticated by entering a PIN on its own onboard keypad. This means that it is not vulnerable to software or hardware-based key-loggers or software-based brute force attacks.
